04A Apartment

Thuy Khue is a special street in Hanoi which experiencing many changes in the history. It nestled in a bustling modern life but still has a taste of the old days because Thuy Khue still retains temples, pagodas, houses from hundreds years ago and especially a host of mossy ancient village gates and none of them are the same.

04A is a renovation project of an apartment on this street. The location of the apartment makes it impossible for occupants to have beautiful views, but they can observe the road below with people living and passing, like the feeling of a terrace house.

The owner is really feminine, she loves art and always crave for a bright and rustic space.

With all the mentioned factors, we really want to bring the traditional atmosphere into this apartment, but with a contemporary wind. Somewhere in the apartment there is still the image of the "roof", the "veranda" of the tradition house or corridors leading to door frames that create dialogues between family members everytime they being closed or opened.
