Sword Lake Roof

Sword Lake is a natural lake located at the center of Hanoi. The name “Sword” appear the first time in the 15th century which referred to the legendary tail of Lê Lợi king returned the sword to the Turtle god.

The lake is located at the center of Hoan Kiem district with narrow old quarters, so the lake has opened up a large enough space for indigenous activities, associated with the usual activities and culture of the locals.

The integration space is one of 3 pavilions shaping the route of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2022 of the Unesco Creative Cities network organized by Architecture Magazine in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

Residents and visitors could see the results of design competitions for young creators within the framework of the Festival, and some exhibitions of embassies of different countries in this architectural space.
